2007 CHAMPIONSHIP SCOUT-PRO REPORT...AVAILABLE !!!

2008 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AVAILABLE !!!!

Here we go again.2 years ago, two extremely dominant teams met in the most prestigious game of the year : THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Watching that game again was simply amazing. First, we had two teams that averaged 80 points per game, with a 20+ points margin per win. That championship game was one of the hottest, all-time. From a Memphis point of view : Calipari took an average Conference-USA team and turned it to a National Powerhouse. With all the dribble-drive motion scandals comming out, one of the first college teams to run DDM had a chance to win a Championship.

Oh...I almost forgot...Memphis had Derrick Rose...And Tyreke Evans...On the same team...In college ! It's illegal ! In that report, you will find out how Memphis isolated their best players through the dribble-drive motion. Now, what is just amazing, is Kansas. With their 2009-2010 all-star vets being freshmen in 2007-2008, you can see Kansas was still dominant back then. Sets are similar, style is almost the same. Pick-and-roll is ridiculous. As a basketball junkie, there is nothing left to say…The Final Game. The game where everything find its meaning. Why having a philosophy? Why spending mornings in the gym? Twice a day, weight rooms, chalkboards, scouting reports, rebounding, scoring, defending…It all takes place, finally. From a coaching-fan stand point, we wait all year long to see who is going to win it all, how will coaches manage their last games, who is the toughest…The last game of the season, the game nobody wants to miss, the game everyone wants to watch live, the game we all dream to coach…
Personally, I always wish to see an underdog win it all, but don’t get me wrong: I am not talking about dream-streak upsets that wouldn’t happen twice. I am not talking about one-hit-wonders. I am talking about the real underdogs: the team from an obscure conference, with an identity, with an incredible ‘’team mind-set’’, with the passion that it takes to beat the best teams in the country. Well, for my birthday, not only I got to see an underdog team, I got to see the Butler Bulldogs.
