The season begins !

Is it just me or our traditional NBA-sets are slowly getting more and more European? After watching Miami get shut down by the Celts, and Houston surprising the defending Champs, I realized that the double high-post set (A-set, horns-set, etc.) was popular on opening night. Talking about the Knicks-Raptors game last friday...

As the game was going, I found out the 2010 pre-season Raps were running lots of sets (before actually getting to their pick-and-roll game). If you can get my play called TORONTO RAPTORS - [1] I posted last week, you will find out one of their over-used play, still working out well during pre-season.

However, if you are concerned about dead balls like I am, you definitely never turn down on a new SOB play. Here it is:

Toronto Raptors week !

Quick-hitter

Coaches,
As you all know, it’s pre-season time! Like each year, we all travel in different cities to test our teams out, to see what we’ll have to work on, what we should look like, etc... Right now, I’m in my hotel room (just got back from a win by 3). Since I just won with a crunch-time play, I thought I should share it with you guys. So here’s the situation:

We got 2 seconds on the shot clock, with under a minute to go in the game. We are up by 1, and got to call a quick-hitter to capitalize my time-out. Inbounding the ball from the sideline, here’s my crunch-time play:
